Samart Digital Media, an alliance of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, in encouragement of tourism in 12 secondary towns, launches TripPointz Application, an all-in-one trip planner application.

Samart Digital Media Ltd., developer and service provider of TripPointz Application and an alliance of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), launches TripPointz Mobile Application, a complete alpine trip planner in the event Enjoy Local: Earn Points and Get Lucky Traveling in Secondary Towns.

Mrs. Sukanya Vanichjakvong, President of Samart Digital Media , reveals that Samart Digital Media Ltd. (formerly Samart Multimedia Ltd.) has been a digital and non-digital platform content service provider for over 15 years. Services include Bug, EDT Guide, and Horoworld , specializing in food & drinks and travel contents.

The company has expanded the services considering the quickest way to plan a trip in selected provinces that takes only a touch of finger in less than 5 minutes. This is the concept of TripPointz Mobile Application. Forget the hassles in planning a trip and no-plan trips, because TripPointz Application provides easy trip planning using existing database to arrange travel, eating, and accommodation plans. Apart from the benefit in trip planning, users can also invite friends to join the trip by sharing the trip with them.

And if the application is used on 12 secondary towns not to miss (Lampang, Petchabun, Nan, Buriram, Loei, Samut Songkram, Ratchaburi, Trat, Chantaburi, Trang, Chumpon, and Nakorn Sri Thammarat), points can be collected from dining, accommodation, and attractions which can be redeemed for goods from the Tourism Authority of Thailand as part of the activity Enjoy Local: Earn Points and Get Lucky Traveling in Secondary Towns. The company has been sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) under the Amazing Thailand Go Local project to promote local communities. TAT recognizes the company’s capability in online tourism market development. The ultimate goal is to promote tourism in 12 secondary towns not to miss. Especially in People’s Shop or community shops. Not only users can collect points and have fun, but they are also stimulating the grassroot economy, with a chance to win monthly prizes such as round-trip domestic tickets from Bangkok Airways which are valid for 6 months from March to August 2018.

Mrs. Sukanya says “Travel is now made the 5th necessity as everyone tries to maintain the workflow balance better. The government is also supporting tourism in Thailand as part of Amazing Thailand Go Local project and Peoples Shop project. We, in the private section, advocate the policy by developing an application that will make trip planning easier so that the users can spend more time in cultural tourism in Thailand. The application’s concept is: Traveling made easy and fun. And since the target users are new generations who like to travel, the application comes with a social media sharing function to express each individual’s identity and create a travel community for sharing trip plans. Pointa can also ve collected from various activities such as downloading the application, creating a trip, checking in and scanning QR codes in planned locations, sharing a trip and inviting a friend on Facebook, and answering an after-trip satisfaction survey.”
